The Danish Pedagogisk Centre (Albertslund (PCA) was establised in 1996. It is a regional teachers’ resource centre and a subdivision of the Children and Education Department in the municipality of Albertslund.

In co-operation with the rest of the Department, schools and institutions, the PCA seeks to create a vibrant and professionally challenging setting for skills development, so that all levels are continuously enhanced, regardiung the work on children’s lives and learning processes.

The PCA also supports organisational development and implementation of national aims and local focus areas. This happens through initiatives such as:
- Supplementary education
- Consultancy services
- Teaching materials - purchase, lending and instruction
- Evaluation and follow up
- Project development support
- Network facilitation
- Professional and methodological qualification
- Co-operation with internal and external parties
- Participation in and inclusion of schools and institutions in national and      international projects
