Mata, the Maths Recovery Programme is being rolled out extensively as part of the Department of Education & Science DEIS initiatives (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) as one of the key actions to improve numeracy outcomes. Maths Recovery specialists and classroom teachers in the relevant schools will be trained in the principles and practices of Maths Recovery. The Programme is based in Clare Education Centre.
