Capacity Building – Drama, History & Geography, Visual Arts

We have just been informed of a capacity building programme for tutors in

Drama, History & Geography & Visual Arts

These are being organised by Dublin West Education Centre (DWEC) and the Primary Professional Development Service (PPDS). The purpose of the programmes is to provide sufficient training to a group of teachers that they will be enabled to deliver courses in the autumn, spring and summer schedules of Education Centres in the future and that they will qualify for inclusion on a national database of teacher tutors.

The initiative is intended for teachers who may have delivered some courses already or for those who have not delivered any courses to date but who have a keen knowledge of, an interest in and enthusiasm for the subject and who implement the methodologies of the 1999 Curriculum effectively
