Introduction to Executive Functioning (Primary)
This workshop aims to introduce you to the concept of executive functioning with practical examples and explanations. The workshop will focus on providing attendees with an overview of the processes involved in EF and provide a framework for assessing EF skills in the classroom.
Bio of Presenter: Liath Sheehan, Occupational Therapist
Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Developmental Coordination Disorder. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system.
Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.
