Executive Functioning at Second Level
Executive functioning skills become more important as we age. Often children may reach post primary before their EF needs become clear. This workshop will specifically address EF for adolescents and provide age appropriate intervention ideas.
Bio of Presenter: Liath Sheehan, Occupational Therapist
Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Developmental Coordination Disorder. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system.
Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.
