TARGET AUDIENCE: Secondary and Further education teachers, Secondary school teaching assistants, secondary school Headteachers and Teaching and learning coaches from FE wishing to explore how Kami can support students in the Primary setting

In this session, participants will gain an understanding of Kami's features and functions, including annotation tools, collaborative features, and document creation and control capabilities. We will touch on Integration with LMS.

Teachers will leave with practical ideas and examples for integrating Kami into their post primary school curriculum across various subjects. The session will showcase specific ways to creatively apply Kami across the curriculum.

Participants will experience and participate in collaborative activities and leave with a takeaway set of resources and further optional sessions or the Kami Educator Level 1 to attend.

Bio of Presenters

Wendy Peskett

Wendy Peskett is a Kami Business Development Representative with a long career in staff development in the education sector. 

Wendy is a Chartered Teacher, Google Certified Trainer, Innovator & Coach. Microsoft Innovative Educator and an ISTE Certified Educator and currently supports work in the Google community and within the UK Education and Training Foundation.

Patricia Healy

Patricia Healy is a teacher at Dominican College Griffith Avenue, Dublin. Patricia teaches English, Geography, Computer Science, and Digital Media Literacy, and has been a part of Digital Learning in Dominican College since 2019. Patricia is a Google Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Educator, and recently completed Kami Certification Level.

Lorraine McCool is a Deputy Principal in Dominican College Griffith Avenue, Dublin.  Lorraine has led Digital Learning in Dominican College since 2017 and is very proud of her school becoming a Google Reference School in June 2020 and one of the first schools in Europe to win the Digital Schools Award in December 2021. Lorraine is a Google Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Educator and more recently completed Kami Certification Level 1.  She is also an active member of GEG Ireland.

Toby's interest in education technology started 10 years ago when his students introduced him to the wonders of YouTube. Fascinated by the teaching possibilities, he developed a passion for using technology to foster creativity, collaboration and engagement in the classroom.
