Attendees will be enabled to explore and experience number talks and be provided with all the resources required to get this up and running in their own classes/school.

Session 1:

• What are Number Talks? Including a virtual number talk and video examples (middle class level).
• Computational fluency
• Mathematical modeling
• Structure
• Task for week ahead

Session 2:

• Recap and Addressing any questions/issues arising from task.
• Atmosphere of Number Talk
• More examples: Infant and senior class level
• Further reading and resources
