Problem-solving is listed as one of the four main elements of the new Primary Mathematics Curriculum with the focus on deepening children’s mathematical understanding. This three-part webinar will delve into how word problems, ICT and integrated STEM can develop children’s problem-solving skills. As teachers navigate through the term, this webinar will equip you with different approaches to deepen and extend children’s mathematical understanding in all strands.

Bio Of Presenter: Orla Keane is a Primary School Teacher and AP in Numeracy and STEM in a DEIS Band 2 School in Limerick City. In 2021 she completed a Master of Arts in STEM Education and subsequently started the Instagram page @primaryschoolSTEM. Orla is passionate about simplifying STEM and showing teachers how effective it can be in nurturing children's 21st century skills. @primaryschoolstem
