Dr. Richard Egan, Senior Educational Psychologist with NEPS, Clare will present to School Leaders on ‘Responding to Self-Harm in Schools’.
The presentation will aim to:
- Build awareness, knowledge and understanding of self-harm within schools and the issues related to self-harm
- Understand why CYP self-harm and what are the warning signs?
- How to support CYP engaging in self-harm
- Whole School Preventative Strategies to support CYP’s wellbeing
This will take place in Clare Education Centre on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. This presentation is open to primary and post-primary school leaders.
