Exploring Behaviour Through a CBT Lens (2-Part Series) (P) (PP) (SNA)
DATE: Thursday, 16th & 23rd April 2026
TIME: 7pm - 8pm
VENUE: Online Via Zoom
Target Audience: Primary, Post Primary Teachers, SNA’s & Parents
This two-part series explores how Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can deepen our understanding of behaviour and guide more effective responses in children and young people. Instead of focusing on behaviour as a problem to fix, this series helps participants see it as communication — shaped by underlying thoughts, emotions, and unmet needs.
Across both sessions, participants will learn how to apply CBT concepts to everyday challenges in classrooms and schools. The focus is on identifying triggers, recognising thinking patterns, and using structured, compassionate approaches to support regulation and change. Practical tools, case examples, and reflection exercises will help professionals translate insight into action.
