Target Audience - Leaving Cert Biology Teachers

Leaving Certificate biology is a very content heavy course and sometimes it can be hard to find active methodologies that you can justify spending time on.
Unit 3 is a large section of the course. This webinar is designed to give teachers ideas, approaches and resources for teaching some of the topics in Unit 3.
The webinar is suitable for all biology teachers, particularly NQT’s. You will come away with some practical tips and tricks.
Time will be allocated at the end to answer some of your questions regards specific areas of the syllabus

Naomi Pierce

Naomi is a teacher of science, biology and chemistry in Avondale Community College in Co. Wicklow. She is a placement tutor for DCU and is currently studying a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning in SETU. Naomi has experience teaching in both a private and DEIS school setting. She is the owner of the Instagram account @the_science_teacher_ where she shares an insight into her everyday teaching and learning, showcasing resources that she uses from other accounts and websites as well as content that she has created herself.
