Date: Thursday 6th, 13th, 27th Feb and 5th March
Time: 7pm to 9pm
Too often, we live either in the future or in the past. The future can be full of worries, concerns, planning, anticipations, anxieties or fears. The past can be filled with regrets, doubts or suspicions. Many times we are not aware of how much of our time is spent in such places. We spend so much energy worrying about what might happen, (anticipating the worse possible scenario,) when we need to stay in the present and experience what is happening. This takes self-discipline and awareness. This course invites the participants to firstly become aware of their thought patterns and how such patterns can lead to stress and worry. In such a place, we are not living, but endeavouring to ‘keep up with’ the rat race, which can drain us of a great deal of our energy.
This course also teaches simple techniques in how to live in the calm of the present moment, where life is to be experienced in a full and wholesome manner.
