This webinar will specifically look at how to incorporate the ‘Problem solving’, ‘Generalisation and proof’ and ‘Communication’ elements of the Unifying Strand in JC Maths and will consider how to apply these to the Mathematical and Statistical Investigations.

Presenter Bio:

James Trimble is a maths, chemistry and science teacher in St. Benildus College, Stillorgan. He works as a part-time lecturer with Dublin City University, teaching pre-service teachers and he is a member of the CASTeL research group in DCU, which carriers out research in STEM education. He is co-author of Gill Education’s new series for Junior Cycle Maths, Linking Thinking.
