CHEMISTRY - Webinar 3: Simulations to develop conceptual understanding in Chemistry (PP)
DATE: Wednesday 15th January 2025
TIME: 7pm - 8pm
VENUE: Online Via Zoom
Target Audience: Leaving Cert Chemistry Teachers
Teaching complex concepts in chemistry can be challenging, as students often struggle to visualize atoms moving, changing, or forming and breaking bonds. In this webinar, we will explore a range of virtual manipulatives and simulations that reveal the inner workings of chemistry. From building atoms to exploring acids and bases in solutions and understanding equilibrium, we will introduce a variety of useful tools to demystify the subject. These resources enable students to see firsthand how chemistry operates, making abstract concepts more concrete and tangible.
