Join us as we dive into the format of the West Clare Coding Club to understand what this initiative is all about. We will explore the importance of upskilling in coding and discover how to practically integrate it into your planning. We will give you an insight into the 5-session coding club and we look forward to sharing ideas and areas of interest.
Clare Education Centre is pleased to announce the launch of a new Coding Club for Teachers, which will run throughout the 2025–2026 academic year. Sessions will take place in St. Senan’s National School, Kilrush, and are open to all teachers, at all levels of coding ability—from complete beginners to those with more experience.
The purpose of these Professional Learning Sessions is to:
- Build teachers’ confidence and capacity in coding and computational thinking
- Explore ways to integrate coding into classroom practice in a fun, supportive environment
- Encourage collaboration and the sharing of ideas and resources among teachers
- Support schools in implementing elements of the Primary and Post-Primary Digital Strategy
Whether you're curious about coding for the first time or looking to develop your skills further, we warmly invite you to join this community of practice.
