Scéim Aisíoctha Táillí Múinteoirí/ Teacher Fee Refund Scheme

Is í an aidhm atá leis an Scéim Aisíoctha Táillí Múinteoirí ná maoiniú a chur ar fáil i dtreo chostas rannpháirtíochta cúrsaí agus táillí scrúdaithe ar chríochnú rathúil cúrsaí forbartha gairmiúla. (Sa chás go bhfuil fad an chúrsa níos faide ná bliain amháin, cuirtear maoiniú ar fáil nuair a chríochnaítear gach bliain den chúrsa go rathúil). Tá an maoiniú ar fáil le haghaidh cúrsaí a bhfuil baint dhíreach acu le agus atá mar thairbhe do scoileanna agus atá faoi réir deimhniúcháin/ dámhachtana ag údarás creidiúnaithe cuí atá aitheanta ag an Roinn Oideachais (RO). Ní bhaineann an Scéim Aisíoctha Táillí Múinteoirí ach le hiarratais ar leith agus ní féidir le scoileanna ná fostóirí eile aisíocaíochtaí a éileamh. Tá an scéim seo faoi réir athbhreithnithe agus d’fhéadfaí athruithe a thabhairt isteach sula mbeifear ag glacadh le hiarratais don scéim an chéad uair eile (i.e. sula nglacfar le hiarratais ar aisíocaíocht táillí i leith na bliana acadúla seo chugainn).

The purpose of the Teacher Fee Refund Scheme is to provide funding towards the cost of course participation and examination fees on successful completion of professional development courses. (Where course duration is longer than one year funding is provided upon successful completion of each year of the course.) The funding is available for courses that are directly relevant and of benefit to schools and that are subject to certification/award by an appropriate accreditation authority recognised by the Department of Education (DE). The Teacher Fee Refund Scheme refers to individual applications only and refunds may not be claimed by schools or other employers. This scheme is subject to review and changes may be introduced before the scheme is next open to applications (i.e. before applications for refund of fees in respect of the next academic year are invited.

Tá múinteoirí bunscoile agus iar-bhunscoile atá ag obair faoi láthair, atá cláraithe leis an gComhairle Mhúinteoireachta, atá íoctha ag an Stát agus atá fostaithe i mbunscoil nó iar-bhunscoil atá aitheanta ag an Roinn Oideachais, incháilithe chun iarratas a dhéanamh ar mhaoiniú faoin scéim. Cuimsíonn sé seo múinteoirí lánaimseartha buana, múinteoirí lánaimseartha sealadacha, múinteoirí páirt-aimseartha, múinteoirí ionaid, múinteoirí a bhfuil conarthaí tréimhse éiginnte acu agus múinteoirí a bhfuil conarthaí téarma seasta acu atá fostaithe don scoilbhliain ar fad agus a chuireann seirbhís múinteoireachta ar fáil i rith gach seachtaine scoile. Tá liosta na mbunscoileanna agus iar-bhunscoileanna sainaitheanta ar fáil ar shuíomh gréasáin na Roinne ag https://www.gov.ie/en/service/find-a-school/.

• Tá múinteoirí atá cláraithe go hiomlán agus ar iasacht laistigh den earnáil oideachais incháilithe chun iarratas a dhéanamh faoin scéim. 
• Ní bheidh múinteoirí atá ar shos gairme/ saoire neamhíoctha le linn na bliana scoile 2021/22 incháilithe chun iarratas a dhéanamh ar aisíocaíocht táillí ach amháin nuair a fhilleann siad ar scoil agus ní féidir an aisíocaíocht a dhéanamh ach amháin i leith táillí a thabhaítear idir an 1 Meán Fómhair 2021 agus an 31 Lúnasa 2022.

Currently serving primary and post-primary teachers who are registered with the Teaching Council, paid by the State and employed in a Department of Education recognised primary or post primary school are eligible to apply for funding under the scheme. This includes permanent whole-time teachers, temporary whole-time teachers, part-time teachers, substitute teachers, teachers holding contracts of indefinite duration and teachers holding fixed-term contracts who are employed for the full school year and who provide teaching service during each school week. • Fully registered teachers on secondment within the education sector are eligible to apply under the scheme.
• Teachers on career break/unpaid leave during the 2021/22 school year are only eligible to apply for a refund of fees upon their return to school and the refund can only be made in respect of fees incurred between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022.

Cúrsaí Neamh-incháilithe faoin Scéim

• Ní chuirfear maoiniú ar fáil faoin Scéim Aisíocaíochta Táillí Múinteoirí do chúrsaí a mbíonn cáilíocht mar thoradh orthu agus ina bhfuil liúntas iníoctha.
• Níl cúrsaí atá maoinithe go páirteach cheana féin ag an Roinn Oideachais incháilithe don scéim.
• Ní mhaoineoidh an scéim seo easnaimh sna cáilíochtaí a theastaíon d’aitheantas iomlán mar mhúinteoir bunscoile nó iar-bhunscoile.

Courses Not Eligible under the Scheme

• Funding under the Teacher Fee Refund Scheme will not be provided for courses which result in a qualification in respect of which an allowance is payable.
• Courses which are already part funded by the Department of Education are not eligible for the scheme.
• This scheme will not fund shortfalls in qualifications required for full recognition as a primary or post-primary teacher.

• Ba chóir go mbeadh cúrsaí cáilithe bainteach go díreach le agus mar thairbhe do scoileanna, bainistíocht scoile, nó múinteoirí agus ba chóir go mbeadh tionchar dearfach acu ar mhúinteoireacht agus ar fhoghlaim sa deireadh.
• Ba chóir go mbeadh cúrsaí faoi réir deimhniúcháin/ dámhachtana ag údarás creidiúnaithe cuí atá aitheanta ag an Roinn Oideachais chun críche na scéime seo.
• Más rud é go bhfuil an bhliain dheireanach den chúrsa críochnaithe, ní mór cóip den teastas dioplóma iarbhír a bheith ag gabháil leis an iarratas. Maidir le hidirbhlianta, ní mór tras-scríbhinn de thorthaí measúnuithe na mblianta ábhartha a bheith ag gabháil leis an iarratas.
• Ní íocfar as aisíocaíochtaí ach amháin i gcás táillí bliantúla os cionn €600.

• Courses which qualify should be directly relevant and of benefit to schools, school management, or teachers and should ultimately positively impact on teaching and learning.
• Courses should be subject to certification/award by an appropriate accreditation authority recognised by the Department of Education for the purpose of this scheme.
• If the final year of the course has been completed a copy of the actual diploma certificate must accompany the application. For intervening years a transcript of the results of the relevant years assessments must accompany the application.
• Refunds will only be paid for annual fees in excess of €600

Cúrsaí Dioplóma/ Diploma Courses

• Go ginearálta, beidh cúrsaí dioplóma agus teastais aitheanta atá creidiúnaithe mar atá thuas incháilithe faoin Scéim Aisíoctha Táillí Múinteoirí.
• Ní mór cóip den teastas dioplóma iarbhír a fuarthas i ndiaidh an cúrsa a chríochnú go rathúil a bheith i dteannta le gach foirm iarratais.
• Ní íocfar as aisíocaíochtaí ach amháin i gcás táillí bliantúla os cionn €600.

Is féidir cóipeanna scanta de theastais dioplóma nó trascríbhinní de na torthaí a uaslódáil i gCuid 2 de do phróiseas iarratais ar líne.

• In general, recognised diploma and certificate courses accredited as above will be eligible under the Teacher Fee Refund Scheme.
• A copy of the actual diploma certificate received following the successful completion of the course must accompany all application forms.
• Refunds will only be paid for annual fees in excess of €600
